Sri Guruvayoorappan – “The Lord of Guru Brihaspathy and Sri Vaayu Deva” in His land (Sri Guruvayoorappan), Guruvayoor-“The land of Guru Sri Brihaspathy and Lord Vaayu Deva”-the land of Divinity and Sanctity, widely opens its hands to the devotees who visit Him, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna – in His numerous names and forms with utmost grace and beauty, to fulfill the needs and desires of His great Devotees. |
| |
The town bustles with Krishna devotees throughout the year. The temple is indeed beautiful and bright murals depicting Krishna’s life cover the entire walls. It’s wonderful to see devotees spending hours in queues just to catch a glimpse of their lord. The culture and tradition of the town makes it a good place to visit with your family. Get the kids acquainted with our religion and culture. There are other entertainment opportunities too. Waterfalls and streams around the town make for good picnic spots. The place lacks the noise and pollution of big cities and hence makes for an ideal gateway. |

The Land of pure Bhakthi or love, give the devotees, whoever comes here- whether inside or outside the temple, a total liberation from the sins, and insert pure love from within the hearts of the people, when prayed sincerely to Him, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna. There has been an innumerable description on the Divine Land. Great Personalities like Sri Sanakarachrya, Poonthanam, and Melpathur Namboodiripaadu and so on, so dear and devoted to the Lord, who gave themselves to the Lord. Such is the devotion at Guruvayoor, whereby all the home-stay facilities are provided at Ambady Kannan Resorts |
